Formed in early 2018 by New Zealand scene veterans Jared Kerr (Vocals) and April Haines (Guitar), hardcore/melodic hardcore outfit Amanaki have quickly proven they are a forced to be reckoned with.
Hailing from Auckland and Hamilton of New Zealand's north Island, Amanaki are pushing the boundaries, with a stage presence that shows experience, youthfulness (Jethro Wall - Drums, Ethan Downey-Parish - Bass & Vocals) and melodic hardcore / punk sound that breaks the mold. Amanaki boasts a sound comparable to the heavy hitting band Counterparts.
Having played along side and supporting the likes of Antagonist AD, Seas of Conflict, Lookin Up, Crooked Royals, Xile + many more throughout NZ. As well as Festival Stages at Festival One in 2019, 2020 & 2021 Don't sleep on Amanaki, much more to come in 2021.
